The connection from your network to the hub is through ethernet. All communication from the smart hub to the Caseta devices is done via Lutron&#39;s proprietary radio frequency (RF) technology called Clear Connect Type-A (CCA).</span></p>

<ul style='margin-top: 0in;margin-bottom: 0in;'><li style='margin-top: 0in;margin-right: 0in;margin-bottom: 8pt;line-height: 1.2;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;'>Physically switch the locations of the Plug-in Lamp Dimmer currently acting as the range extender with a different Plug-in Lamp Dimmer. Then, edit the device names in the Lutron App to match their new locations.</li><li style='margin-top: 0in;margin-right: 0in;margin-bottom: 8pt;line-height: 1.2;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;'>Delete <b>all </b>Plug-in Lamp Dimmers from the Lutron app, then add them back into the app. The first Plug-in dimmer added back into the app automatically becomes the range extender. </li></ul>
