Step 1: Push up on the release tab on the left shade bracket. This is the same for both bracket assembly types, A, and B.

Step 2: While holding the release tab, slide the bracket forward to expose the battery tray and shade button.

Follow the steps below to default your shade once it is in service position:
Step 1: Tap the Shade Button quickly three times and hold the Shade Button after the third tap until the Shade Button LED flashes GREEN rapidly.

Step 2: Immediately tap the Shade Button quickly three more times, until the Shade Button LED flashes GREEN rapidly, then flashes RED/GREEN three times, and turns off.
